The Great Garage Sale: Baby Stuff Galore

The majority of the items that I bought when I was at the garage sales were for the baby.  I got several onesies, bibs, and other little outfits for between $.25 and $1.00 each.  I probably spent about $12.00- $15.00 total on baby clothes.  Off the top of my head, I got at least 4 sleepers, 8 onesies, 2 hats, 2 bibs, a jean jacket, 2 pairs of jeans, 2 fleece zip-up sweaters, and the cutest pair of boots in the world!

Total Spent: $1.00

Total Spent: $3.00

Total Spent: $.25 each

My momma was looking for a spare Pack-N-Play for all her grand-babies.  She already has one but decided it might be a good idea to get another spare.  Guess what?  I found one at the garage sale!

Total Spent: $20.00

It has definitely been used but with a good wash down and a new cover for the mat, it will be good to go! I would have to say that it was all money well spent!

The Great Garage Sale: Items for the Nursery

I ended up getting some super cute curtains for the nursery when I was hitting the garage sales last weekend.

Total Spent: $3.00

These curtains match the nursery perfectly!  They are from JCPenney, so I am sure they were orignally much more than the $3.00 that they cost me!  My HHBL even ended up liking them, and he normally hates curtains!

Total Spent: $1.00

This little basket is being used right now to hold the baby's barrettes and head bands.  It was too cute to pass up!

Can you see a theme?  There seems to be a lot of pink going on in the nursery!

The Great Garage Sale

This past Friday, I took off work to hit up some garage sales.  A co-worker took me to Rossville Indiana which is a small, quaint town of about 1500 people.  It was the town's Summers End Festival, and the town was packed with garage sales.  I had so much fun and got so many great deals!  My only regret is that we didn't reserve a golf cart to ride around the town.  Most people use the golf carts to prevent all the congestion from the cars.

Over the next couple weeks, I am going to chronicle all the great deals I got.

Exhibit A

Total Spent: $.50

This little bread pan makes the most adorable loaves of bread.  I had to rush home and make zucchini bread to try it out.

The pan makes the perfect personal size bread loaf!  Don't these look yummy?  Believe me, they are!
